Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods, professionally known as Tiger Woods is one of the greatest players known to the world when it comes to Golf. Currently ranked second worldwide and first in the PGA Tour, the golfer is mostly seen playing in the PGA tour. Tiger was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame back in 2021.

Apart from being a Hall of Famer, the Golfer has also earned various awards such as PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, PGA Player of the Year, PGA Tour, Vardon Trophy, Byron Nelson Award, and Presidential Medal of Freedom among others. Being professional since 1996, the golfer has earned around 110 victories in his career.

Tiger Woods Major Championships Wins in Golf

Among his multiple victories over the years, Tiger Woods has a total of 15 major championship victories in his career. He made a strong impact in the world of golf with his debut performance, winning the 1997 Masters. With this victory, Woods set three Masters records which were the largest margin of victory, lowest score, and being the youngest player to win at Augusta.

Next on the list of his majors was the 1999 PGA Championship. Later he went on to win the US Open, along with the British Opens, PGA Championship in the year 200. Tiger bagged the Masters championship in 2001 and 2002, making him the first golfer to defend his title successfully since Nick Faldo in 1989-90. In 2002, the golfer also won the US Open Championship.

His next major victory came in 2005 when the golfer won the 2005 Masters and British Open Championships. He also won the British Open Championship in 2006 along with his PGA Championship, making it a back-to-back championship victory in 2002. His next two Major victories came in 2007 and 2008 when he bagged the PGA Championship and US Open Championship respectively.

His next major victory came after 11 long years with his 2019 Masters Championship. To date, this is his latest victory in the Major Championship, where he won against golfers Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka, and Dustin Johnson.
