The 124th US Open is scheduled to take place from June 13 to 16 at the Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina; it has already hosted the event three times earlier, in 2014, 2005, and 1999, and this will be the fourth time. In most cases, golfers who want to play a full round start between 6:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Golfers usually stay on the course or in the practice areas until at least 7 p.m.
The US Open's first and second rounds are slated to start (1st tee and 10th tee) at 6:45 a.m., and the final pairings are scheduled to begin at 2:42 p.m. (1st tee and 10th tee).
Afterwards, the starting time is determined by the total number of golfers who advance past the second round, which consists of the 60 lowest scorers and any player tying for 60th place.
