The 124thU.S. Open will take place at the Pinehurst Resort's course No. 2, in North Carolina, in the United States. The four-round stroke play event is scheduled for June 13–16, 2024 and the broadcasting rights are owned by NBC, The Golf Channel, and USA Network, with live streaming on Peacock.
The U.S. Open is the third major golf event of the season, after the 2024 PGA Championship, followed by the last major, the Open Championship. The event has a field of 156 professional and amateur golfers, including 82 exemptions and others through qualifying rounds.

On June 13, live coverage of the first round airs on USA Network from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Peacock from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On June 14, Peacock will start the second round of coverage at 6:30 a.m., then NBC from 1 to 7 p.m., then Peacock once more from 7 to 8 p.m. The third round will be covered live on the USA network from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and then from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on NBC. And the fourth round will be on NBC from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the USA and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

US Open TV Coverage
Including the main broadcast, featured groups, and studio coverage, NBC Sports will provide more than 200 hours of live coverage of the US Open. Golf Channel's Live From the U.S. Open, which will also live on NBC's digital streaming platform Peacock, will kick off its pre-championship event on June 10. Live From will cover the pre- and post-rounds of the championship every day.
Apart from the four days of linear telecasts on Peacock, USA Network, and NBC, fans can also watch through Featured Groups and U.S. Open All Access Presented by Deloitte. U.S. Open All Access, hosted by Trey Wingo, will alternate between the primary telecast and digital feeds.

The 2024 US Open will only be televised live by Sky Sports in the United Kingdom (U.K.), which will provide in-depth coverage of the competition all week long. The live coverage of the first two rounds will start at noon on the UK broadcaster, and following the 36-hole cut, coverage will start in the afternoon on the weekend.
