Jason Day

Jason Day is one of the popular professional golfers who represents Australia in the PGA Tour. He won multiple tournaments throughout his professional career and achieved a net worth of $50 million. When he was six, his father sent him to Beaudesert Golf Club to learn and get acquainted with more golfing skills. Since then, he fell in love with the game and eventually became a worldwide famous golfer.

As professional golfers, choosing equipment according to their playing style is very important. At the start of Jason’s career, he used Taylormade as his main club, But now different clubs can be seen inside his bag. He carries the driver, Woods, putter, Irons and all other equipment; the model and specifications of each equipment is described below.

Jason Day's Bag

Jason Day’s Driver

Jason Day uses the Ping G430 LST Driver. This driver combines a 440cc head size for precision with a 208g head weight for power. With a loft of 10 degrees and a launch angle of 12.1 degrees, it is designed for optimal trajectory. The TPT Prototype shaft delivers 2018 RPMs spin, while a club head speed of 105.3 mph achieves 156.9 mph ball speed. The 8-position hosel allows ±1.5° loft adjustments and up to 3° flatter lie. Plus, Trajectory Tuning 2.0 enhances control. The G430 LST Driver elevates the game with power, precision, and adaptability in one swing.

Jason Day's Driver?

Starting at the top of the bag, Day currently uses a Ping G430 LST driver, 9° at 10°, after utilising a Ping G425 LST driver for a spell. The head has 440cc in it. Ping has done an excellent job of making things look welcoming at the address, even with the smaller profile. This specific model is among the best golf drivers for mid-handicappers, and it's a club that still offers a lot of forgiveness. Since Day has previously discussed attempting to decrease his ball flight, it is not surprising that he uses a TPT Prototype shaft with a low launch profile.

Jason Day's Fairway Woods?

Day then has a 15° TaylorMade SIM Max three wood in his possession. The other choice at the top of the bag is his seven-wood, a 21° TaylorMade Stealth. The Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 80 X shaft is installed on both fairways. This club was among the most excellent fairway woods at the time and made our editor's choice list in 2022. Day has hinted that he is hesitant to make drastic changes just for show.

Jason Day's Irons?

Right now, Day might show up to his next competition using a different pair of irons or his old favourites. He is using TaylorMade P760 irons (4-PW) with the True Temper Dynamic Gold X Seven shaft, at least for the time being.

At the Farmers Insurance Open in 2024, he had these irons in his bag. To sum up, the P760 is designed for single-figure players looking for a small, players' iron that offers extra assistance in the long irons and accuracy in the short irons with a lively, soft feel.

Jason Day's Wedges?

It should be no surprise to hear that Day has also adjusted his wedge setup. He used some Artisan Prototypes, but two Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges (52-08F and 56-10S) were substituted for them. The 52° wedge has a KBS Tour C-Taper 125 S+ shaft installed. In the meantime, both his WedgeWorks (60-08A+) and the 56° are equipped with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft. His initials are emblazoned on his shoes.

The Titleist Vokey SM10 wedge is an improvement over its predecessor and is among the most outstanding golf wedges available. It has a more centrally situated CG, greater spin, and a lower launch. All of these small adjustments improve this club's control and consistency.

Jason Day's Putter

Over the past several years, the Australian appears to have made a lot of adjustments to his mallet putters. He frequently used an Odyssey 2-ball design, a SIK Flo C-Series model, and a red and white TaylorMade Spider Tour putter. He looked to be utilising three different models during the 2022 PGA Championship: the Odyssey Toulon Daytona Prototype, the TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Spider Limited, and the Toulon Daytona Beach.

He was spotted using a Scotty Cameron black-head mallet design in the beginning of 2023, but he was swinging a TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Spider Ghost putter when he won the 2023 in&T Byron Nelson. His unique red and black TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy Spider Limited, equipped with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord grip, was in his bag at the 2024 Farmers.

Jason Day's Golf Ball

The Bridgestone Tour B X is Day's go-to ball because it's a fantastic all-around player that combines exceptional control and feel around and around the greens with distance and a strong flight in the long game. He makes use of a unique visual technology called Mindset (see the graphic on the ball above), which is available on all four of the 2024 Tour B Series golf balls.

Jason Day's Shoes

Regarding his gear, Day has made some significant adjustments to his shoes and clothes. The 2015 PGA champion used the Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 shoes, which Rory McIlroy favoured, while Nike employed him. But before the 2024 PGA Tour season, Day inked a contract with Los Angeles-based apparel brand Malbon Golf, and some of his new looks have generated a lot of discussion.

Day wore FootJoys with the Malbon Golf branding on the side at the beginning of the year. He chose the FootJoy Traditions as his footwear while visiting Hawaii in January. But during the season, you should anticipate seeing the Australian switch up his looks with some of the greatest FootJoy golf shoes.
