Who is Angelo Giantsopoulos? All you need to know about the PGA Tour debutant at Rocket Mortgage Classic 

At the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic, Angelo Giantsopoulos is all set to make his debut on the PGA Tour. Aged 24, Giantsopoulos sank a 40-foot putt at The Orchards Golf Club on Monday (June 24) to qualify for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Since this performance, many have been interested in knowing more about the player.

Angelo Giantsopoulos was born in Richmond Hill, Canada to Dan Giantsopoulos and Eva Giantsopoulos. He also has a younger sister, and an uncle who played as a quarterback in the Canadian Football League.

Coming back to Angelo, he has had an extensive career on the amateur circuit. Some of his achievements on the amateur circuit include a fourth-place finish in the future Masters, second place in the Ontario Provincial Junior Championship, and a spectacular performance at the USGA Jr. AM Championship, where he shot 65 to qualify for the Round of 32.

In recent times, Angelo Giantsopoulos has also been playing in the Minor League Golf. The 2024 season in the league has been good so far for Giantsopoulos as he secured five top-five finishes. He was the winner at the Abacoa Summer Classic and the Indian Spring West Winter Classic.
