Alex Palou Montalbo is a Spanish IndyCar driver and team owner. He races for Chip Ganassi Racing IndyCar team as of 2024. Palau drives the No. 10 car for the team. He has his own motorsports team which competes in the Eurocup 3 series. Palou has been racing in the IndyCar series for 5 years since his debut. He started in the series as a rookie for Dale Coyne Racing in 2020. Palou moved on to Chip Ganassi Racing in 2021. He won his first IndyCar championship in 2021 with Chip Ganassi. He became the first Spanish driver to win a championship in the open-wheel racing history of IndyCar.

Alex Palou is among the best drivers of the current IndyCar grid. He has three championships to his name. Palou has won his second and third championships consecutively in 2023 and 2024. He is the second driver to achieve a consecutive championship in the sport. Alex Palou was also involved in a lawsuit with McLaren due to breach of contract. He was sued for nearly $23 million.
