Commentary

That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off on behalf of my fellow commentator Rajarshi Das.

Royal CC won by 9 wickets (with 37 deliveries to spare)

It turned out to be a rather straightforward run chase for the Royal CC as they chased down the below par target of 49 with more than six overs to spare.

They were hardly tested at any stage of the game and it was a fitting end to what turned out to be one of the most one sided games you will ever see in the network.

Out came Tajinder Kumar and Rahul Behl in the middle and started taking on the opposition bowling attack. Tajinder was the aggressor and looked in brilliant touch before an uncharacteristic misunderstanding with his partner led to his downfall.

Rahul Behl was slow to start with but once Tajinder was dismissed, he took the onus on hismelf to finish off the deal for Royal CC.

Came from the bottom half of the bat but still trickles away to the fence. Things have wind down a bit but Royal CC just need 12 more runs to win this.
