Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh captain): We've repeated the same mistakes, not good as a team and we need to improve. It was a good decision still, if you look at the bowling, first six or seven overs, we bowled well but after that India came back, we didn't bounce back. Take responsibility as batters, we have to believe in ourselves, if we spend time in the middle we can do it. After six or seven overs, we didn't execute our plans. The way Tanzim, Taskin bowled, it was impressive.

Rinku Singh [India]: I always tell myself, when the chips are down, when I go in and say to myself, that I keep my cool and believe myself, play according to the situation. Practice is natural, I've been playing for long and practice accordingly. It's important to keep temp going even with the wickets are down. I always to try to play till the end, but I get out sometimes. Plan was always to build partnership with the ball stopping, rotating the strike was important. Momentum picked up with the no-ball, Reddy hit a six and from there he was unstoppable.
India win by 86 runs and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Yet another thumping victory for the men in blue and Bangladesh's search for a win on this trip continues. The visitors did start on a positive note tonight though. They won the toss and the trio of pace bowlers was particularly impressive in the powerplay. They managed to pick up three wickets in the first six overs and had ostensibly pegged India back.
However, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh had other plans. The duo stitched together an enthralling partnership of over a hundred runs, whilst exhibiting some clean ball striking and good running between the wickets. The spinners were especially taken to the cleaners. The fireworks continued till the fag end of the innings even as India lost wickets. Ultimately, they put up 221/9 on the board in their 20 overs.
The pressure of a huge target got to Bangladesh. Too many ugly cross-batted swipes resulted in dismissals. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav used this opportunity to test out his bowling options. Parag, Abhishek, Reddy - all got the opportunity to roll their arms over and each of them picked up a wicket at least. They were well supported by the fielders too. Special mention to Hardik Pandya for a spectacular catch to dismiss Rishad Hossain. In the end, Bangladesh fell short by a country mile.
