David Warner (Karachi Kings captain): Yeah I was happy with the score especially after the start we had. A bit of a hiccup but the way Vince batted and took the pressure off was great. Nabi was fantastic, we knew on this kind of wicket, he will play a big role. Taking five wickets in the powerplay went a long way in winning it for us. It is dictated by conditions, there wasn't any dew and it was great to adapt to the conditions. We got the wickets when needed. Look I think, we have played three matches on this same wicket, it has produced different wickets and could be the same in the next game. The only home advantage could be the dimensions.

James Vince (Player of the Match): Yeah it probably played how I expected it to. Good toss to win in the end. Yeah I think losing wickets and to get momentum back in the favour is very important.

Saud Shakeel, Quetta Gladiators captain: I feel they bowled really well, judging the conditions and using them to good effect. They stuck to their plans. One of those days when the luck doesn't go your way as well, should be shunned away from the minds. Can't end the game in the powerplay, will be out of the game if you lose wickets. Happened in the last game as well. As a team, got to forget these games and move on. Have a 5-6 days gap, need to make good use of it and plan well going forward.

It turned out to be a dominating performance from the Karachi Kings bowlers as they handed the Quetta Gladiators their second defeat in a row. It was a convincing 56 run win and the Quetta Gladiators never looked like chasing it down.

Finn Allen and Hasan Nawaz departed early in the piece before Kusal Mendis came out with some intent and scored a quickfire 12 before Mohammad Nabi showed his guile to flummox him at a crucial juncture of the game. Wickets kept tumbling one after the other in the next few overs as Karachi kept pushing Quetta into a hole.

Mohammad Nabi and Abbas Afridi bowled well in the middle overs while Hasan Ali was the pick of the bowlers with three to his name. Finally it was Mohammad Amir’s late order blitz which took them over the 100 run mark.

He smashed three sixes and a couple of fours en route to a 16 ball 30 but it was never going to make a significant impact to the game. Eventually they batted out the 20 overs with a wicket left. Don't go anywhere, we will be back shortly with the presentation.
