Two teams that have epitomized how this season has been played are contesting the final. A red soil surface in use today - 63 meters and 70 meters square on either side while the straight hit is 77 meters long. Red clay tends to have a lot of bounce. It's a really well-prepared wicket and we could expect a high-scorer - could be 180 or even up to 190. Both finals we've seen at Chepauk before in 2011 and 2012 were high-scorers. Players will sit back and play into the gaps while using the bounce. There won't be a lot of spin but you will see significant bounce. You'll have to watch out as a batter against spin while playing unconventional shots and cutters will be in play. No dew expected again.
