It turned out to be a pretty straightforward win for the Paris Universite XI as it was always going to be almost an impossible task to chase down 197. They needed to go all guns blazing right from the word go but didn't get anywhere close to the target they were after. Mohammad Barakzai batted brilliantly as he scored a 22 ball 61 but they were always going to fall short after a couple of quite overs.

Barakzai smashed five fours and six sixes but the highlight of the innings was the knock of Saijeevan Kumaran who smashed 30 off just 7 deliveries which included 5 sixes. William Singh bowled a stupendous over where he conceded just three runs and bagged a couple of wickets. Eventually, Balbyniens could only muster 141, with PUC winning by 55 runs.
