These are the matches for Group A which consists of 7 teams. However, there has been an 8th participant that the teams have had to deal with from time to time in this series. And that is rain. Unfortunately, the earlier two matches for the day got washed off as well. But we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that the weather gods can relent a bit and let us have our dose of European Cricket on a Sunday!
Remember, last time these two teams met, it was another match that was shortened due to rain. Coimbra Knights set up a score of 85/1 in 7 overs. But Punjab CC Amadorra chased down the rain adjusted target of 94 in 5.5 overs.
Punjab CC Amadorra has had a couple of days off since. Coimbra Knights have had 3 matches in the meantime, 2 of which were washed due to rain. The remaining one was also affected by rain, but eventually, the Knights came out on top successfully defending a target of 94 in 6 overs against the Lisbon Super Giants.
