Tyler Reddick’s childhood was all about racing mini sprints, midgets, dirt late models, and sprint cars. Fifteen years and several races later, Reddick picked up his first career win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona. Moreover, he finished second overall in only his first year of competition as a full-timer. But it's not just the Truck Series that has witnessed Reddick capitalising on his natural talent.
The Corning native went on to win his first Xfinity Series championship in 2018, after he had qualified for the playoffs; thanks to the close win in the regular season race at Daytona that year. But Reddick wasn't done yet. Next year, he came back stronger, won five regular season races, and again, took home the Xfinity Series championship trophy for the second consecutive year.
His stellar performance drew the attention of team owners, Denny Hamlin and NBA legend Michael Jordan, who then signed him for a multi-year deal with 23XI Racing. Reddick too, didn't disappoint his bosses as he recorded his first win for 23XI in 2023.
With another win at Kansas, Reddick advanced to the round of 8 for the first time in his career. With his most recent win at Talladega Superspeedway, Reddick looks forward to ending up again in the playoff rumble and, perhaps, winning his first Cup championship.
