The Cincinnati Bengals, who are third in the AFC North, head into Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys with a disappointing 4-8 record. They lost 44-38 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13 — their third consecutive loss.

Although the Bengals only have a small chance left of qualifying for the playoffs, they are still mathematically in the running. If they defeat Dallas, they will enter their last stretch of games with a wild playoff berth still reachable.

Bengals final injury report for Week 14 MNF

When the Bengals face the Cowboys, two of their key players — defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins (illness) and left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula) — will not be available.

Brown Jr. did not practice during the week and was officially ruled out for Monday's game on the final injury report. Following a full week of practice, Cody Ford, who was listed with a back injury, is expected to start in Brown's stead.

Although the exact nature of Rankins' illness is unknown, he will miss his third consecutive game.

After missing the last four games due to a groin injury, wideout Charlie Jones was officially designated questionable on Saturday, giving him a chance to play despite being limited in all three of the team's practice sessions.

Apart from those three, every other player that appeared on the Bengals' injury report, including wideout Ja'Marr Chase (ankle), quarterback Joe Burrow (right wrist) and wideout Tee Higgins (NIR), have all been cleared to play.
