New York Jets
The future is here for the New York Jets, but it won't start right away. Sam Darnold looks to be the future face of the New York Jets, but Josh McCown looks like the face for now. Josh McCown will be a great tutor for Darnold. It allows the Jets to sit Darnold and let him learn from the highly engaging vet McCown. Even having Teddy Bridgewater, will teach Darnold how much strength it takes to be a pro. Bridgewater's return on the field after his injury is aspiring and should be to Darnold as well. The Dolphins also brought in linebacker Avery Williamson to solidify and captain the defence. The future looks bright for the Jets. Finally, they can look forward, only a few more years of struggle left.
Strengths: Quarterbacks! Josh McCown is a capable starter that doesn't make mistakes, and he controls the situations on the field well. McCown is a team player and also a great teacher and could one day become a coach in the NFL. Teddy Bridgewater also brings the same characteristics as McCown. Bridgewater was on his way to become a legitimate quarterback until his injury hampered that journey. Bridgewater's determination attitude to make it back on the field will have a significant effect on Sam Darnold. This duo in front of Darnold is the perfect scenario for Darnold to one day become the next Jets quarterback. The Jets starting four wide receivers are players that won't be hyped up, but they are a lot better than you think. Robbie Anderson, Terrelle Pryor, Jermaine Kearse, and Quincy Enunwa are names that will surprise a lot of fans and teams with their production and consistency. The Jets foursome will be challenging to match up for opposing teams. New incoming veterans Trumaine Johnson and Avery Williamson will help the young studs Jamal Adams, and Leonard Williams become better players on defence.

Weakness: The running backs on the Jets offence didn't do it. Isiah Crowell, Elijah McGuire, Bilal Powell, and Thomas Rawls are not the running backs that you would expect to be successful in the NFL. They probably should try to get a Demarco Murray out of retirement to solidify the backfield. Avery Williamson is a standout linebacker, but the rest of the group of linebackers leaves a lot to be desired.
Players to Watch: Robbie Anderson (WR), Jamal Adams (S), Terrelle Pryor (WR), and Jordan Leggett (TE)
