#3 - Minnesota Vikings (6-7)
The Minnesota Vikings have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season. They racked up some impressive victories, such as against the Green Bay Packers, but also some disappointing losses, such as against the Detroit Lions. Of their 13 games this season, 12 of them have been decided by eight or fewer points. They are also just 2-4 in games decided by three or fewer points.
#4 - New Orleans Saints (6-7)
The New Orleans Saints started the season with a strong 5-2 record. After suffering several key injuries to their offense, they went on to lose their next five consecutive games. They ended their losing streak this week and will look to gain some momentum down the stretch.
Uniquely talented Taysom Hill has taken over as the starting quarterback and will likely remain in the position for the rest of the season. He adds a new element to their offense with his dynamic dual threat abilities, in the air and on the ground.
#5 - Seattle Seahawks (5-8)
The Seattle Seahawks have work to do if they want to punch their ticket to the NFC playoffs, but they just might be getting hot at the right time. They are one of only five teams in the NFC who have an active winning streak, with the other four being among the "locks" for the playoffs. In their two consecutive victories, the Seahawks have combined for 63 points. They're in a good position to make a solid late-season push.
