The 2024 NFL draft is just days away as it is set to kick off on Apr. 25 in Detroit. The draft is always among the most important events of the year due to how critical it can be to overall roster construction and future outlook for all NFL teams. #1 - Marvin Harrison Jr.
Most of those familiar with the 2024 NFL draft have likely heard of how good Marvin Harrison Jr. rates out as a top prospect. He is expected to be a top-ten pick this year, following a dominant career with the Ohio State Buckeyes. He is also the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time at the position.
#2 - Luke McCaffrey
Ed McCaffrey is a former Super Bowl champion, while his son Christian McCaffrey just won the Offensive Player of the Year award. The third member of their family, Luke McCaffrey, is now looking to make it to the NFL as well. The son of Ed and brother of Christian is projected as a late-round pick.
#3 - Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
Jeremiah Trotter had a solid career as an NFL linebacker, mostly with the Philadelphia Eagles. His son Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is now entering the 2024 NFL draft from the Clemson Tigers and plays the same position as his father.
#4 - Jonah Elliss
Defensive tackles are often the unsung heroes of many successful defenses in the NFL. They can often anchor an entire unit, and the top players can have a major impact. Luther Elliss did so during his NFL career, and now his son Jonah Elliss hopes to find similar success at the next level.
#5 - Brenden Rice
Jerry Rice is widely accepted as the consensus greatest wide receiver in NFL history. He set almost every possible record for any player at his position, with most of his career coming with the San Francisco 49ers. His son, Brenden Rice, enters the draft from the USC Trojans as a projected mid-round pick with big shoes to fill.

Frank Gore demonstrated what it meant to be a workhorse running during his NFL career with several different teams. He also showed off his impressive longevity in a position that is not at all known for it. His son, Frank Gore Jr., hopes to reach a similar level following the draft.

Many around the NFL are aware of just how good Joe Alt has profiled as an offensive tackle prospect. Many scouts believe he is the most pro-ready of any offensive lineman this year and arguably has the highest floor. Fewer are likely aware that his father, John Alt, was also an offensive tackle in the NFL.
#8 - Kris Jenkins
Kris Jenkins put together a solid career as a consistent contributor on several defensive lines. His son Kris Jenkins Jr. just won a national championship with the Michigan Wolverines and hopes to carry that momentum into the NFL.
#9 - Javon Foster
Jerome Foster is a former defensive lineman in the NFL. His son Javon Foster also hopes to make it to the pros as a lineman but on the offensive side. He is hoping to be selected at some point during the 2024 NFL draft.
#10 - Drake Nugent
Being a quarterback in the NFL is one of the most prestigious jobs across all sports. Terry Nugent was able to accomplish this and now his son Drake Nugent enters the draft with hopes of playing in the pros as well. While he doesn't play the same position, he protects quarterbacks as an offensive lineman prospect from the Michigan Wolverines.
