The Las Vegas Raiders are in no man's land. With their current roster, they are currently too good to be bad enough to compete for a top pick. At the same time, they are not good enough to challenge Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs for hegemony in the AFC West.
That means that the best they can hope for is a Wild Card spot. However, not everyone will get to enjoy such an achievement if it happens. These three guys, among others, are the likeliest candidates to fail to make it through...
3) Zach Gentry

There is no doubt the Raiders have two exceptional tight ends on their roster: Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer. They are expected to be starters once the season begins.
Sitting behind them should be Harrison Bryant, who is coming off a surprisingly decent four years with the Cleveland Browns (89 cathes for 791 yards and ten touchdowns). And that leaves Zach Gentry, who had been plying his trade exclusively in the AFC North before heading to Nevada, as one of the odd men out.
2) Ben Brown
The offensive line has been an area where the Raiders have been lacking in star power. For a time, they had hulking 6'8", 380-pound Super Bowl champion Trent Brown, who someow managed to make a Pro Bowl while wearing the silver and black.
This year, they have picked up two Pro Bowlers in former New Orleans Saint Andrus Peat and ex-Chicago Bear Cody Whitehair to compete for a guard spot alongside Dylan Parham. There is also the presence of rookie Jackson Powers-Johnson.
So where does Ben Brown belong in that stacked rotation? Frankly, he may just be another bystander.
1) DJ Turner
Without a doubt, the Raiders' deep-pass game will revolve around Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Michael Gallup could have competed for WR3, but he decided to leave the sport.
However, that does not mean that WR3 lacks depth. Sophomore Tre Tucker has established himself at that position. However, Jalen Guyton comes in from the divisional rival Los Angeles Chargers with over a thousand yards to his name and wants the throne.
Unfortunately, this does not bode well for DJ Turner, who has had minimal stats since joining as an UDFA.
