The Miami Dolphins' 2024 season never really took off. Despite boasting some big names in offense, the Dolphins never really clicked into top gear, as they finished second in the AFC East with an 8-9 record.

Although some Miami players shone brightly throughout the season, a handful of them failed to make the desired impact.

#1. Raheem Mostert

Mostert was one of the biggest disappointments for the Dolphins in the 2024 NFL season. The running back finished the season with 278 yards and two touchdowns on 85 carries, while also contributing 161 yards on 23 receptions across 13 games.

The Dolphins were banking on Mostert to lead their offensive backfield, but instead, the player never got going. He also missed a few games due to a nagging hip injury.

Mostert's lack of service with his running game narrowed Miami's offensive options. He had rushed for 18 touchdowns in the 2023 season but didn't live up to the hype this season.

#2. Odell Beckham Jr.

When Beckham signed for the Dolphins in the 2024 offseason, big things were expected from the team. However, the wideout could go down as one of the worst signings in franchise history.

Beckham began the season on the IR list and was activated on Oct. 5. However, the receiver played just nine games, posting 55 yards on nine receptions with no touchdowns.

On Dec. 11, the Dolphins and Beckham mutually agreed to part ways.

#3. Patrick Paul

The Dolphins selected Paul in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft. However, the rookie offensive tackle struggled to adapt to the transition to the big league.

Paul played in all 17 regular-season games, making three starts. He played in 337 offensive snaps and 71 snaps on the safety teams.

The Dolphins' offensive line came under scrutiny for most of the season and Paul received one of the worst overall grades.
