The Buffalo Bills are preparing to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the conference championship round of the NFL Playoffs. They are just one win away from making a Super Bowl appearance, but they will need to get past the defending champions of the past two seasons.
The Bills got to this point by impressively earning the No. 2 seed in the AFC and beating the Chiefs in the regular season. They have one of the best rosters in the NFL to achieve this level of success, but some of their players have been overrated. Here are three such examples.

#1 - Von Miller
Von Miller has been selected as a first-team All-Pro three times and twice as the runner-up for the Defensive Player of the Year award in his legendary career. All of those came with the Denver Broncos, but he has been much more of a situational player for the Buffalo Bills despite his deservedly elite reputation.
Miller hasn't started a game in 25 appearances in the past two seasons and has recorded just six total sacks during that time. While he is still useful in defensive passing situations for them, he is far from the dominant edge rusher he was earlier in his career.
#2 - Amari Cooper
Amari Cooper has exceeded 1,000 yards in seven of his ten seasons and has done so with three different teams. His 2024 NFL season has been a much different story as he is averaging a career-low 39 yards per game, including an even lower 37 yards per game in eight games since being acquired by Buffalo.
His production has dropped even lower in recent weeks, averaging just 18 yards per game across his past four games overall, including zero in last week's game. Despite his productive career, he has become an afterthought in the Bills' passing offense, despite their lack of elite players at this position.
#3 - Dalton Kincaid
Dalton Kincaid emerged as one of the most exciting tight end prospects during his rookie season last year, recording 73 receptions for 673 yards. He was projected to be a major factor in the Bills offense this season, especially considering they moved on from their top two wide receivers during the offseason.
He instead took a step backward this year, averaging eight fewer yards per game and totaling just two touchdowns despite playing in the second-highest-scoring offense in the NFL. His future may still be bright, but he is being overrated based on last year's success rather than this season's disappointing results.
