The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing to take on the Buffalo Bills in the Conference Championship round of the NFL Playoffs. They will be the host at Arrowhead Stadium following their impressive 15-2 season that earned them the top seed in the AFC.
They have already won the past two Super Bowls and are seeking to become the first team ever to three-peat in NFL history. This all means that they obviously have one of the best rosters in the league, but some of their players are a bit overrated based on their performances. Here are three such examples.

#1 - Isiah Pacheco
Isiah Pacheco played a major role in each of the Chiefs' past two seasons that resulted in them winning a ring. The 2024 NFL season has been a much different story for the talented running back as he consistently struggled to get back to his typical output since returning from an early-season injury.
Pacheco has failed to score a touchdown in six games since his return and has only exceeded 50 scrimmage yards once during that time. He has also averaged fewer than 4 yards per carry in each of his past five games, so he hasn't been much of a factor in their offense.
#2 - DeAndre Hopkins
Kansas City acquired DeAndre Hopkins prior to the trade deadline this year and was expected to give their passing offense a major weapon. He has exceeded 1,000 yards in seven of his 10 completed seasons and has totaled 84 touchdowns in his career.
In just his second game with the Chiefs this year, Hopkins recorded eight receptions and scored two touchdowns, giving him a bright outlook for the remainder of the season. Her has scored just two touchdowns since then and exceeded 40 yards just twice as the Chiefs' passing offense has heavily favored Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy.
#3 - Noah Gray
Noah Gray has received hype this year for being another dangerous tight end in the passing game alongside Travis Kelce. He has turned in some solid performances, including exceeding 40 yards four times and recording two multi-touchdown games, but he has been generally ineffective recently.
He is averaging just 13 yards per game across his past five contests and has just one touchdown in the past six games, basically making him a non-factor as a receiver.
