New York Giants fantasy football outlook for 2024

The New York Giants concentrated on strengthening their offensive line during the free agency period. In addition, they improved at receiver by selecting star Malik Nabers with their first-round draft pick in April. The team intends to contend for a postseason appearance in 2024, even though running back Saquon Barkley left in free agency.

The Giants will continue to start Daniel Jones at quarterback this year. Jones did not finish the 2023 season, but prior to his injury, he had a lackluster campaign. He only threw two touchdowns compared to six interceptions in six games. The offensive line and receiving group were lacking in quality, but the quarterback was also criticized for holding onto the ball too long, resulting in pressure and sacks.

Jones might see a significant improvement in 2024, given the Giants' offseason efforts to strengthen their offensive line and add assets to increase their offensive firepower. Nevertheless, the QB is projected to be selected by fantasy managers as a low-end QB2 at most.

Furthermore, it's unclear what rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers will do when he catches passes from Drew Lock or Daniel Jones this season. Nabers is unquestionably among the finest receivers in this rookie class, having registered 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns at just 20 years old in the SEC, but he finds himself in an extremely challenging scenario for a rookie.
