While the other backup QBs knew before the game started that they would be stepping in for the incumbent QB, Siemian had to fill in after a horrible injury to Saints starter Jameis Winston. In a highly-anticipated NFC South matchup that had playoff implications, the New Orleans Saints knocked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers behind backup QB Trevor Siemian. Siemian guided the Saints with 159 yards and 1 touchdown pass to WR Kevin White.
#4 - QB Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks

Backup QB Geno Smith started two previous games for the Seattle Seahawks in place of QB Russell Wilson. In his third start of the year against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Smith was able to help get the Seahawks a much-needed victory to keep them in the playoff hunt while Wilson prepares to return from his hand injury. Smith threw for 195 yards, tossing 2 TD passes while also running for 1 TD.
