What can you expect from Bo Nix and the Broncos in 2024?
Bo Nix enters the NFL after a five-year collegiate career with the Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks. Nix was as reliable as they come in college, playing in 10 or more games every year since 2019.
Bo Nix enjoyed the best year of his college career in 2023 when he guided the Oregon Ducks to a 12–2 record. Nix put up a stat line of 4,508 passing yards, 45 touchdowns and three interceptions in 14 games. His impressive showings saw him finish third in the 2024 Heisman Trophy voting behind LSU's Jayden Daniels and Washington's Michael Penix Jr.
Expect Nix to play assured football for the Broncos and keep his touchdown touchdown-to-interception ratio at a decent clip. Nix looks poised to be the first rookie quarterback to start in Week 1 for a Sean Payton-coached team. He'll look to start off his NFL career with a flourish.
The Denver Broncos will look to have a better season than their 2023 season, which saw them finish with an 8-9 regular-season record. The goal in 2024 will be to end the year with a quarterback solution and potentially make the playoffs. Anything less would be seen as a failure on the part of Sean Payton and his coaching staff.
