When does the 2024 NFL regular season start?
The 2024 regular season starts with a clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 5. The game begins at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be broadcast by NBC.
Patrick Mahomes and Co. will face off against the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens in a rematch of last season's AFC championship game. Mahomes and Co. came out tops the last time out, and they'll be looking to start their title defense with a statement win.
Lamar Jackson and his team will have other plans, as they'll be looking to lay down a marker for the rest of the league by winning at the Chiefs' home turf. The Ravens have a stacked offense led by their two-time MVP winner and perennial Pro Bowler addition, Derrick Henry. It's going to be an interesting opening game at Arrowhead.
Other interesting Week 1 matchups to anticipate are the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys versus the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets versus the San Francisco 49ers.
