#1 Eric Dickerson, 1983
One of the greatest running backs in NFL history, Eric Dickerson was picked by the Los Angeles Rams in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft. During his illustrious NFL career with a number of teams, he rushed for over 13,000 yards - holding the NFL's single-season rushing record with 2,105 yards (1984).
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999, and his No. 29 jersey retired by the Los Angeles Rams. He won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honours in 1983, as well as the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year honours in 1986.
