#3 - Patrick Jeffers
Primarily a special teamer, Patrick Jeffers had an outstanding breakout campaign back in 1999.
Jeffers had never topped over 330 yards in a season but had 1,082 yards with the Carolina Panthers in '99. He also had 12 touchdowns, tied for the most in the league that year. Jeffers had five straight 100-yard games and set the Panthers' franchise record for yards per reception with 17.2

However, Jeffers tore his ACL before the beginning of the following season and never recovered. He returned for one year in 2001 but could only amass 127 receiving yards before retiring.
#2 - Terrelle Pryor
Terrelle Pryor entered the NFL with the Oakland Raiders as a quarterback in 2011. However, his most impressive campaign came as a wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns in 2015.
Pryor wound up with 1,007 yards and four touchdowns, made all the more impressive due to his lack of experience at the position. This also came on a terrible Browns team that ended 1-15, but Pryor would never reach those heights again. He only played two more seasons, never topping 300 yards as injuries took their toll.
#1 - Allen Hurns
The Jacksonville Jaguars struck gold when they picked up Allen Hurns as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Hurns had over 600 yards during his rookie campaign and followed that up by topping 1,000 yards and combining that with 10 touchdowns. Alongside Allen Robinson, Hurns combined for one of the best tandems in the NFL, but it wouldn't last.
The Jaguars paid Hurns $40m over four years but would regret that deal as he failed to total 1,000 yards over his final two seasons with the team. Hurns bounced around the NFL, landing in Dallas and Miami, but he never topped 500 yards again in a season.
