Dynasty Fantasy Football requires a much different strategy than re-draft leagues. Teams that find the most consistently sustained success can build their roster with a combination of win-now players and building blocks for the future. One of the best ways to do so is by capitalizing on the trade market, especially with no annual draft after the first season in a dynasty besides rookies.
Finding players to target in trade situations for fantasy football should be based on where they are projected to be going, rather than just their history of past performances. Entering the 2024 NFL season, here are five wide receivers who make for wise investments as their values have a strong chance of increasing this year.

#1 - George Pickens
George Pickens increased his overall output in just about every statistical category last year with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After significantly improving on his rookie production, he has a strong chance to take another step forward this season. The Steelers recently traded away Diontae Johnson and added Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to upgrade their quarterbacks.
#2 - Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton set a career-high with 10 touchdowns last season, despite his overall usage taking a bit of a hit. That should change during the 2024 fantasy football season after the Denver Broncos traded away Jerry Jeudy. Sutton should be locked in as their WR1, with more targets theoretically increasing his fantasy value.
#3 - Drake London
Drake London set a career-high with 905 receiving yards last year, despite suffering through some of the worst quarterback play in the NFL. The Atlanta Falcons addressed this during the offseason by bringing in veteran star Kirk Cousins. With a much better quarterback situation, London could be lined up for a breakout season in fantasy football.
#4 - Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers was a bit inconsistent last season during his rookie year with the Baltimore Ravens, but he still finished with an impressive 77 receptions for 858 yards. Many players take a step forward in their second season, and if Flowers can do so, he could elevate himself to an elite option. He could also see more targets with Odell Beckham Jr. no longer on the team, increasing his potential projections.
#5 - Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson has exceeded 80 receptions and 1,000 yards in each of his two seasons with the New York Jets, despite playing in one of the statistically worst offenses in the NFL. That could change in 2024 if Aaron Rodgers stays healthy. Wilson has proven to be a weapon even with bad quarterbacks, so his ceiling is sky-high with a potentially elite one.
