The Seattle Seahawks have established a significant legacy for themselves over the years. Since their founding more than 45 years ago, they have had several successful teams, particularly in recent years.

The Seahawks have had the opportunity to participate in three Super Bowls and have won one during their first 48 years in the NFL. We examine the players who have received the most money from the Seahawks:

One of the most productive quarterbacks in Seattle Seahawks history is Matt Hasselbeck. He spent 10 seasons in Seattle, from 2001 to 2010, helping the team to six postseason trips and its inaugural Super Bowl berth in 2005.

According to Spotrac, Hasselbeck earned $62.9 million during his stint with the Seahawks.

3) Tyler Lockett, Wide receiver - $76,099,057

Tyler Lockett isn't the fastest wide receiver in the league or the biggest, or even the most talented. However, he's without a doubt among the most dependable.

Lockett has played in the NFL since the Seahawks selected him with the 69th overall pick in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He has risen into one of Seattle's top two receivers in terms of receptions, yards and touchdowns over the course of his career and has constantly performed at his best during crucial situations.

1) Russell Wilson, Quarterback - $181,362,520

There's no denying how highly rated Russell Wilson is among the Seattle Seahawks faithful. As the quarterback who guided the Seahawks to their lone Super Bowl victory, he undoubtedly ranks atop the list of all-time great QBs in franchise history.

Russell led the Seahawks to consecutive Super Bowl appearances but only won one, a 43-8 rout of a Denver Broncos team led by Peyton Manning.

When Wilson accepted a four-year, $87.6 million contract extension with the Seahawks in 2015, he was the second-highest paid player in the NFL at the time. He had already ascended to the top of the team's all-time earning record by the time he departed the Seahawks in 2022, having taken home an astounding $181.3 million in salary.
