NFL head coaches who could be fired this year
Here are the head coaches who are in the hot seat for the 2021 NFL season.
#3 - Matt Rhule, Carolina Panthers

Matt Rhule has earned only ten victories in his first 30 NFL games as the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. He's used several quarterbacks, including Sam Darnold and Cam Newton, and even fired his offensive coordinator, Joe Brady. None of the moves have turned things around for the Panthers, despite having a talented roster. Matt Rhule's job could be in danger.
#4 - Mike Zimmer, Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are in serious danger of missing out on the 2021 NFL Playoffs, unless they win their final two games of the season. After finishing the 2020 NFL season with a 7-9 record, they sit at just 7-8 entering Week 17 of the 2021 NFL season. Back-to-back seasons below .500 and missing the playoffs could cost Mike Zimmer his job as the head coach.
#5 - Vin Fangio, Denver Broncos
Vic Fangio is in his third season as the head coach of the Denver Broncos. He enters Week 17 of the 2021 NFL season with a combined 19-28 overall record. Unless the Broncos win both of their remaining games this year, it would be their third straight losing season with zero playoff appearances under Fangio. The Broncos organization may choose to make a change following this year.
