Randy Moss is one of the most dominant wide receivers of all time, and it started with his rookie season. He eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first six seasons while leading all players in receiving touchdowns in five of them.
He recorded 17 receiving touchdowns in his 1998 rookie season, a record that still stands today.
#4 - WR Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins - 104 receptions
Jaylen Waddle had an excellent rookie season that went somewhat under the radar. He set a new rookie record with 104 receptions.
It probably didn't get as much recognition as it should have, due to Ja'Marr Chase and his spectacular year. Chase recorded the most receiving yards by a rookie since the merger and is the second most of all time behind only Bill Groman in the 1960 season.
#5 - DE Jevon Kearse, Tennessee Titans - 14.5 sacks
Jevon "The Freak" Kearse lived up to his nickname during his 1999 rookie season. He set a new NFL record by registering 14.5 sacks, a record that still stands today.
He was named the Defensive Rookie of the Year and finished as the runner-up in the Defensive Player of the Year voting.
