1. Adrian Martinez, Quarterback
No one had a better season in the UFL than Adrian Martinez. The Birmingham Stallions dual-threat QB willed his side to the championship on the back of stellar performances weekly.
Martinez swept the honors list in the inaugural season of the United Football League, winning the Championship Game MVP award, the rushing leader award and the MVP award. He was also named to the All-UFL Team. Martinez has many admirers and could be a star in the NFL if he gets the right fit to harness his dual-threat ability.
2. Jake Bates, Kicker
Jake Bates was the best kicker in the UFL, and his story is as compelling as it is impressive. Before joining the UFL in 2024, Bates had yet to make a kick at the professional level.
Since then, he has made three kicks for over 60 yards and earned a two-year contract with the Detroit Lions. Fans may see the next Brandon Aubrey in Bates.
3. Daewood Davis, Wide receiver
The Carolina Panthers' troubles are well-documented at this stage. The franchise hasn't just been able to surround Bryce Young with elite receiving talent, but they're making some effort this off-season.
The Panthers just signed Daewood Davis following an impressive season in the UFL. Davis made the All-UFL and was one of the league's best lads catchers this season. He joins a Panthers roster with Diontae Johnson, Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette on the pecking order.
If Davis can showcase his pre-injury skills, there's no reason why he won't make a successful transition to the big leagues.
4. Willie Harvey Jr., Linebacker
In 2024, Willie Harvey Jr. led the UFL in tackles (76). He also led all linebackers in tackles for loss, forced fumbles and passes defended. Harvey Jr. has played just four NFL games and recorded two sacks.
The Dallas Cowboys clearly see the potential in the All-UFL star, and they've signed him ahead of the 2024 season. They'll hope he can have a similar impact to fellow former spring football stars Brandon Aubrey and KaVontae Turpin.
5. Jalen Redmond, Defensive tackle
Jalen Redmond recorded 18 tackles, five tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in the United Football League. Redmond was arguably the Arlington Renegades' best defensive player in the inaugural UFL season.
The Minnesota Vikings have added Redmond to their roster before the 2024 NFL season.
