Who was the Fantasy MVP in 2023?

Three players stood out in the 2023 fantasy football season: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. All three led their positional groups in fantasy football, but there can only be one Fantasy MVP for last year.

The Fantasy MVP Award goes to San Francisco 49ers superstar Christian McCaffrey, who earned the season's most average fantasy football points. McCaffrey was the driving force on Kyle Shanahan's offense, and his versatility made him a hit among fantasy football managers.

According to ESPN, he finished third overall on the fantasy leaderboard for the season, scoring 391.3 PPR fantasy football points. The Madden 25 cover star had a staggering 100.8-point advantage over the second-best places running back, Breece Hall.

Furthermore, the 2023 Offensive Player of the Year finished in the top-seven of his positional rankings 12 times for the year. He led all players in that stat line and remains the best player at the RB position when healthy.
