A. J. Brown left the Tennessee Titans for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022. While Calvin Ridley has been a good addition to their offense, they were never able to adequately replace their former star, as he developed into one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

Is A. J. Brown a good pick in Week 15?

The Eagles' receiver is at an interesting point of his season. After his four catches, 43-yard performance against the Panthers, he publicly called out the offense, creating a bit of a buzz around his relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts, his best friend apart from the league.

His numbers slowed down a bit after a great start to the season. He has had just 109 yards and nine receptions over the past two games, but against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown might see his volume increase after the controversy around the passing game and his lack of targets.

He has had four games with at least 100 yards this season.

Is Calvin Ridley a good pick in Week 15?

Against the Cincinnati Bengals, the matchup is extremely favorable for the Titans' wide receiver. But his inconsistency is a problem in 2024: he had 12 targets and seven receptions in Week 14, but the week before, he had just two receptions.

Ridley has scored just two touchdowns since Week 3, with quarterback Will Levis preferring other options in the red zone. The Titans' season is all but over, and his numbers are not impressive: in 13 games, he has 50 receptions, 738 yards and three touchdowns. His 50.5% catch rate is the lowest of his career.

Could you bet on a big game due to the matchup? Sure. But consistency matters in fantasy football, and Ridley does not possess it.

Whom should I start between A. J. Brown and Calvin Ridley in Week 15?

Even if the matchup is not the best, our Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer has the Eagles wide receiver on a note above. Brown is a superstar in the position whose numbers this year are down due to an injury in September, but he still poses a bigger threat.

The Eagles need a big game from their passing offense to swipe the controversy as the playoffs loom around. Feeding their superstar would do wonders.
