A.J. Brown became one of the Philadelphia Eagles' primary offensive weapons after arriving in 2022 via trade, hitting at least 1,400 receiving yards twice consecutively and reaching a Super Bowl. But in 2024, his production took a sizable plunge when Saquon Barkley arrived from the divisional rival New York Giants and proceeded to utterly humiliate the opposition with a 2,000-yard domination.
It even led to reports of tension with quarterback Jalen Hurts, even though he caught enough passes from him and covered enough distance to finish with 1,079 yards. However, head coach Nick Sirianni needs him at his best if the Eagles are to defeat the shockingly good Washington Commanders in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
That being said, how has Brown been doing?

A.J. Brown discusses lack of playoff production
One of the things Brown discussed during Wednesday's practice was his attitude over his lack of big numbers in the postseason as he has caught just three passes for 24 yards at that stage, surprisingly low numbers for a supposed elite wideout.
"I can't worry about it. I can only look at the film and learn from it," Brown said via CBSSports.com. "...I know people care about numbers, but right now none of that matters."
Kickoff for the NFC Championship Game is at 3:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
