Aaron Donalds is a professional American footballer who plays in the NFL as a defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. Aaron Donald's career began in the Year 2014 when he was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the 2014 NFL Draft.

On June 2014 he signed a four-year contract worth $10.13 million with the St. Louis Rams. He made his NFL debut against Minnesota Vikings, in a game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers he recorded three tackles during a 19–17 victory. He continued his brilliant performance throughout the season and won the award of NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. In the following season, he was ranked by his fellow team members at 14th in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016.

In 2017 the Rams wanted to take exercise Donald's fifth-year option from his contract. But he did not show up for training camp and preseason and due to this dispute he was fined and for each game he missed it cost him one game check from his base salary. Donald made his debut of the season against the Washington Redskins in the loss of 20−27 where he recorded two tackles. Aaron Donald had a great season despite missing a few opening matches where he won the award of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

In 2018 Aaron Donald signed a six-year contract extension worth $135 million with the Rams which at that time was one of the highest-paid defensive player contracts. Since then Aaron Donald has been the IT factor for the Rams in every season. In the 2022 season in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Donald suffered an ankle injury which resulted in his being ruled out from the team's final six games.

In his senior year, Donald became the most productive and the most dominant defensive player. He was called by multiple couches as a one-man wrecking machine, the following season he was also named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.
