Aaron Jones is a running back in the NFL who plays for the Minnesota Vikings. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with the 182nd overall pick selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft. He was ninth among the NFL rookies in the 2017 season. Jones gathered a total of four rushing touchdowns in his rookie season, leading the team in rushing touchdowns.

Aaron Jones was named to the Pro Bowl in 2020. He is third in the all-time rushing yards list of the Green Bay Packers as of November 3, 2024. Jones joined the Minnesota Vikings in 2024 on a one-year contract after spending seven seasons with the Packers. Jones played for the UTEP Miners from 2013 to 2016 in his collegiate career. Jones was able to finish his freshman season with 811 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and four receptions. He went on to become one of the best rushers for the Miners in their history. He was featured in five of the top 12 games of the school. He also holds the school records for most rushing yards in a career (4114 yards), season (1773 yards), and career yards per game (117.5).
