Aaron Rodgers seems to find himself, more often than not, in the headlines by the media for his actions both on and off the field. The Green Bay Packers star is currently dealing with another headline following comments from rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs. On the "Maggie & Perloff Show," Doubs stated that he and the quarterback never hung out beyond the Packers’ facility.
Doubs said:
“I didn’t get a chance to hang out with him. Not one time. I mean as far as being around 12… it’s always been football. In the building, in the practice field."

In the same interview, the receiver did seem to remember a team get-together over Halloween. Nonetheless, the relationship between the two appears to be focused on the field.
However, Lane Taylor, a former teammate of Aaron Rodgers for eight seasons, came to the quarterback's defense about Doubs' comments about him:
"People are always trying to make Aaron a bad guy. I guess he should have spent his free time doing trust falls with the rookie wide receivers."
Doub's comments come as a complete shock as the four-time NFL MVP has praised him this season.
Aaron Rodgers on Romeo Doubs awesome catch versus Patriots earlier in the season
Back in Week 4, Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers faced the New England Patriots at Lambeau Field. During Green Bay's second offensive play of the game, Rodgers threw a pass to Doubs. Per Rodgers, it was a bad pass. After a 27-24 overtime victory over the Patriots, Rodgers praised the rookie receiver for the catch.
Rodgers said:
“That was not a good throw. Nice catch by (Doubs), almost wish he dropped it. I actually kind of screwed up that one in my head when I was calling it and I tried to adjust, actually I made the right adjustment. But I threw the ball much more inside than I wanted. He needs to just take the ball to the ground. We knew that team is real good at punching the ball out.”
In his rookie season, Doubs had 42 receptions, 425 yards and three touchdowns while finishing third on the Packers with 67 targets. Let's see if Aaron Rodgers responds to the comments as he's weighing his options this offseason.
