American football quarterback Aaron Charles Rodgers plays for the New York Jets as of October 2024. The Green Bay Packers drafted him as the 24th pick in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Rodgers failed to start a game in his first three NFL seasons. However, he became a starter for the Packers in 2008. In the 16 regular games that he started, Rodgers completed 341 passes for 4,038 yards in his first season as a starter. Rodgers led the Packers to a Super Bowl win in 2010 as he was the Super Bowl MVP. After 18 seasons with the Packers, Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets in 2023. He is a four-time NFL MVP, four-time NFL passer rating leader and two-time NFL passing touchdowns leader with the Packers. Rodgers has also been selected to the Pro Bowl ten times in his NFL career as of October 2024.

Growing up in Chicago, Rodgers attended Pleasant Valley High School. He finished his high school with 4,421 passing yards while starting at quarterback for two years. Rodgers recorded 440 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns in a single game. In 2001, he completed 2,466 total yards, setting a school record for a single season. Rodgers committed to Butte College to play his college football in 2002. He led his school to a NorCal championship with a 10-1 record throwing for 26 touchdowns in his freshman year. Rodgers transferred to the University of California playing for the Bears in 2003. In the two seasons he played there, Rodgers completed 424 passes for 5,469 yards and 43 touchdowns.

Aaron Rodgers has had a long career in the NFL and it is safe to say he has been on the active roster for most of it. He did not miss a game due to injury for the first couple of seasons in the NFL before sustaining a concussion in 2010. Rodgers has had a few shoulder problems costing him a few games in 2013 and 2017. The most brutal injury he’s suffered in the NFL as of October 2024 would be his torn Achilles in 2023. He underwent surgery following the injury and returned to the field after a few months.

Pedal Foot Fracture (2006)

Rodgers fractured his foot in November of 2006. He was placed on the injury reserve following the injury according to Draftsharks.

Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1 (2010)

Rodgers sustained a grade 1 concussion in October 2010. It was the first time he missed a game since his draft according to Draftsharks.

Shoulder Clavicle Fracture (2013)

Rodgers fractured his shoulder in November 2013. He had to miss seven games following the injury according to Draftsharks.

Rodgers slightly tore his calf in December 2014 according to Draftsharks.

Leg Calf Strain (2016)

Rodgers had a minor strain on his calf in December 2016.

Shoulder Clavicle Fracture (2017)

Rodgers fractured his shoulder in October 2017. This was the second time he fractured his shoulder in the NFL. He had to sit out the final two games of the season before returning in the season opener.

Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1 (2018)

Rodgers sustained a concussion in December 2018 and had to be withdrawn from the field in the second quarter.

Knee MCL Sprain Grade 2 (2018)

Rodgers sustained a grade 2 MCL sprain in September 2018. After being hauled off, Rodgers came back against Chicago. He spent most of the season dealing with a bone bruise and a sprain according to Draftsharks.

Pedal Toe Fracture (2021)

While trying to get medical clearance to play in the Packers' Week 10 game against Seattle, Rodgers broke his pinky toe during the ramp-up exercise phase.

Chest Rib Bruise (2022)

Rodgers sustained a chest bruise in November 2022. He returned in Week 13 according to Draftsharks.

Leg Calf Strain (2023)

Rodgers sustained a calf strain in May 2023.

Pedal Achilles Tear Grade 3 (2023)

After being fired by the Bills defensive end, Rodgers hurt his left ankle on just his fourth offensive play in September 2023. After receiving a diagnosis of an Achilles tendon tear, Rodgers was put on injured reserve. Rodgers on September 13, 2022, to implant an internal brace in his left Achilles tendon, to have him return by mid-January at the latest.

Pedal Ankle Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 (2024)

Despite having a minor ankle injury, Rodgers played through the Week 5 match against the Vikings according to Draftsharks.
