Adam Thielen is a professional American footballer who plays as a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League. Thielen's professional career in the NFL started in 2013 when he signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

In 2013 after joining the Minnesota Vikings he signed a deal with them for three years worth $1.48 million. In the 2014 season in a match against the Green Bay Packers, he made his official NFL debut where in the following match he recorded four receptions for 57 yards. Thielen was able to continue his dominant performance throughout the entire season and he finished his debut season where he recorded eight catches for 137 yards and a touchdown on offense. Thielen quickly made himself into a game-changing factor in the Vikings by continuing his dominance in the upcoming seasons where in the 2017 season he was ranked 36th by his team members in the list of top Players of NFL 2018.

After having Career altering season in 2017 Thielen signed a new contract extension deal with the Minnesota Vikings for four years worth $35 million. Thielen delivered a career-changing performance in the 2018 season in a game against the Green Bay Packers where he recorded 110 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Thielen was placed on the Injury reserve list due to an ankle injury for which he had to undergo surgery. In 2023 it was announced that Thielen had signed a new deal with Carolina Panthers for three years.
