Adam Thielen Week 13 Waiver Wire Fantasy Outlook: Should I add Panthers WR? 

Adam Thielen returned to the field on Sunday in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs after an injury. He is a good receiver for fantasy football and will play this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Adam Thielen is the Carolina Panthers' top receiver. In his return game, Thielen caught three passes for 57 yards and was targeted four times. He should get more and more targets as he gets back to 100 percent healthy.

Thielen being a veteran receiver is a good checkdown option for Bryce Young and can be a safety blanket for the young quarterback.

“I think he’s just earned his respect when you play on the field and prepare the right way,” Thielen said, via NBC. “You start to earn respect for your teammates, and you feel like you can have those conversations.”

Thielen says Young has earned the respect of his teammates with the way he has performed, and he wants to do everything he can to make him succeed.

Thielen will be good for 4+ targets a game should rack up 50+ receiving yards every game, and is a decent red zone option.

The veteran receiver is not a No. 1 or 2 receiver in fantasy football, but Thielen still can be a good third-receiver option on your team.

The Panthers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Tampa Bay is allowing 275.18 passing yards per game, so Young and the passing offense should be able to have success on Sunday.

As long as Thielen's hamstring doesn't flare up again, he's a good fantasy option in Week 13 and going forward.

It remains to be seen if the veteran receiver can perform well and also appease his fantasy owners.
