Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was once again not at his best in Week 7, but he still led his team to another win. Though he struggled through the air, completing only 16 of his 27 passes, the two-time NFL MVP ended the game with 39 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on five rushes. He amassed 154 passing yards with two interceptions and zero touchdown passes.
In Week 8, the Chiefs will face the Las Vegas Raiders on the road in an attempt to maintain their lead in the AFC standings.
Despite the addition of Davante Adams, the Jets lost again in Week 7
The New York Jets lost 37-15 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, despite the highly anticipated Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams partnership in the offense.
That game was the second one the team played with Jeff Ulbrich as the interim coach following Robert Saleh's dismissal earlier in October. The Jets are currently on a four-game losing streak and are 2-5 overall.
With their current AFC No. 12 seed, the Jets are looking set to extend their playoff drought to 14 seasons.

The Miami Dolphins are still a distant second in the division even though they lost 16-10 to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7, dropping them to 2-4 on the season.
Denver Broncos now 2nd in the AFC West behind the Chiefs
The Denver Broncos have moved up to second place in the AFC West ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers after defeating the New Orleans Saints 33-10 on Thursday night.
Denver moved up to second place in the division, only behind the unbeaten Chiefs, after the Bolts' Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, 17-15, on Monday night.
