A.J. Brown is shining as a wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. His college days saw him donning the Ole Miss colors. Back in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was handpicked by the Tennessee Titans during the second round.

Starkville, Mississippi is where Brown's story unfolds, starting from his days at Starkville High School. Turning down enticing offers from Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, he cast his lot with Ole Miss for college football. In the year that marked his debut (2016), he showcased his prowess with 42 catches, racking up a notable 680 yards and a commendable 7 touchdowns. This stellar performance secured him a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. The subsequent year, he dazzled yet again, capturing 75 receptions for an impressive 1,252 yards and an astonishing 11 touchdowns. This feat landed him a coveted place on the SEC First Team, further solidifying his standing as a consensus All-American.

His NFL journey started when the Titans picked him as the 51st overall pick in the 2019 Draft. Brown burst onto the scene in his rookie year, making 52 catches, totaling 1,051 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was acknowledged on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

His second season noticed him continue to be efficient, nabbing 70 passes for 1, half yards and eleven touchdowns. That overall performance earned him his debut Pro Bowl look. However, in 2021, he had a moderate setback because of chest damage, causing him to miss 3 games. Still, he controlled 63 catches, 869 yards, and five touchdowns that season.

The big change came on April 28, 2022, when Brown was traded to the Eagles. The change included a third-round pick in alternate for the 18th overall pick out in the 2022 NFL Draft, used by the Titans to choose Treylon Burks. Following the alternate, Brown signed a lucrative 4-year, $100 million deal with the Eagles, ensuring $57 million guaranteed.

Brown stands out as a physical receiver better known for his speed, skilful route-running, and adept blocking abilities. Toughness is a defining trait for him. Given his extraordinary abilities, he's broadly taken into consideration as one of the pinnacle-notch wide receivers in the NFL.
