Alec Ingold is a professional American football fullback for the Miami Dolphins as of the 2024 NFL season. After going undrafted in 2019, Ingold inked a deal with the Oakland Raiders. Ingold started four of the 16 games he played while recording one touchdown and six receptions for 44 yards in 2019. In his second season with the Raiders, Ingold concluded the season with 12 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown. Ingold sustained a season-ending ACL injury during Week 10 of the 2021 season. In 2022, Ingold signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. He started 14 games during the 2022 season and finished the season with two touchdowns. Ingold signed a contract extension with the Miami Dolphins in 2023.

Ingold initially joined Northern Illinois University but later decided to join the University of Wisconsin–Madison for collegiate football. In his first season there, he played 10 games and recorded six rushing touchdowns with no receptions according to Sports Reference. He was consecutively named to Academic All-Big Ten in 2016, and 2017. In his senior season, he started 11 games. After the season ended, Ingold was named to the Senior Bowl of 2019. According to the official website of the University, he played 51 games with 11 starts, recording 343 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, along with 14 receptions for 185 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. With that, he was the only true fullback invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. For high school, Ingold attended Bay Port High School where in his senior year, he was named the Gatorade Wisconsin Player of the Year and the Associated Press Wisconsin Player of the Year.
