Anzalone started four games before being placed on the injured reserve during his rookie season, and he ended the season with a sack and 16 tackles. In 2018, Anzalone played in 16 games while starting 7 of them and recorded two sacks, three forced fumbles, an interception and 59 tackles. In September 2019, Anzalone was placed on the injured reserve once again, but he came back strong in the 2020 season, and started nine games, recording 41 tackles. Anzalone played college football at the University of Florida. As a freshman, he saw action in ten games after suffering a few injuries and recorded two tackles that season. In 2014, Anzalone played in all 12 games, earning the team’s Chris Patrick Courage Award and being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. The following season, Anzalone suffered a shoulder injury that limited him to playing just two games. During his 2016 season, he hauled 53 tackles and declared that he would enter the NFL draft in 2017.
