With fantasy football season underway, decisions about which player to start are going to be tough week in and week out. Finding the best running back is massive for your aspirations, and a trio of them is going to make it harder in Week 2.
Is Alexander Mattison a good pick in Week 2?
Quite frankly, he's not. Not only is Mattison just the RB2 for the Raiders, but he will also face a good defense: the Baltimore Ravens have a strong front that is likely to hamper Las Vegas' running game.
Mattison had just five carries for 19 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers, one of the worst run defenses in the league. Zamir White is the starter there and will handle the bulk of the carries. Avoid him as much as you can.

Is Devin Singletary a good pick in Week 2?
Not a good pick as well, as the Giants' offensive line is a big problem for any running back. While he provided better numbers than Mattison (10 carries, 37 yards), he still couldn't do much. Of course, with Daniel Jones as quarterback, the running game is naturally hampered.
Singletary does add some value as a catcher, though, as he had four catches for 15 yards against the Vikings. But it's still not good enough.
Is Zack Moss a good pick in Week 2?
He's a better fantasy option than any of the two options above, as Moss had 61% of the snap share compared to Chase Brown. If the Bengals can move the ball well against the Chiefs, he should get plenty of carries.
Moss is also a valuable option as a pass catcher as we've seen from his days with the Indianapolis Colts, so there's a good pick to come here as your RB2.
Alexander Mattison vs Devin Singletary vs Zack Moss: Who should I start in Fantasy Football Week 2?
The projections from our Sportskeeda Start/Sit Optimizer agree that Moss is the better option for fantasy football in Week 2, even though he's going to play against a strong defense. He's set to outpace Singletary by the smallest of the margins, but the offense he plays with certainly can help him explode.
