Amari Cooper, a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills, was selected at the 2015 NFL Draft as the #4 overall pick. The Miami, Florida-born Cooper attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School. He was a first-team FHSAA 8A All-State selection for his final year performance in which he hauled in 33 receptions for 722 yards. Following his secondary education, being a consensus four-star recruit, he opted for the University of Alabama in 2012. Cooper’s collegiate career is filled with individual and team accolades. He was named to the first-team All-SEC in 2014 while also being named SEC Offensive Player of the Year in the same season. Cooper was the recipient of The Fred Biletnikoff Award and Paul Warfield Trophy in 2014. Amari finished his collegiate career by accounting for more than 3,400 passing yards and 31 touchdowns. Since entering the league, Cooper has been as advertised as he reached the 1,000-yard mark in both of his first two seasons with the Raiders. After getting tarded to Dallas in 2018, Cooper had two more 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, Cooper joined the Cleveland Browns and achieved consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2022 and 2023, becoming the first receiver in Browns’ history to accomplish this feat. In his nine-year pro tenure (as of October 2024), Amari has logged more than 1k yard mark in seven seasons which shows his consistency year in and year out.
