Wide receiver Amari Cooper hopes to play his third game in Buffalo Bills colors against Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Miami-born wide receiver was acquired by the Bills when they traded a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round pick in exchange for Cooper and a 2025 sixth-round pick with the Cleveland Browns.
Cooper suited up the same week he was traded. His first display in new colors saw him register four catches from five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Buffalo Bills' 34-10 win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.
The Bills haven't had a solid wide receiving core in a long time. Adding Cooper, especially after the team lost Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the off-season, gives them a much-needed boost in the position.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper missed the team's Week 9 game against the Miami Dolphins with a wrist injury. He injured his wrist in the 31-10 Seattle Seahawks victory on Oct. 27.
However, Cooper has made some progress, as he has practiced all week but on a limited basis.
Bills reporter Maddy Glab posted an update on X — formerly Twitter — stating that head coach Sean McDermott said Cooper would be limited during Friday's team practice.
"#Bills HC Sean McDermott tells @WGR550 that WR Keon Coleman (wrist) will NOT play in Sunday’s game FB Reggie Gilliam (hip) and WR Amari Cooper (wrist) will be limited in today’s practice."
Cooper is currently listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Concerns at WR position for Buffalo ahead of Bills vs. Colts
The Buffalo Bills will need and benefit from Amari Cooper suiting up and playing on Sunday. As Cooper's status remains questionable and he is recovering from injury, rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist injury) has also been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Per ESPN, wide receivers Mack Hollins (shoulder injury) and Curtis Samuel (pectoral injury) are also questionable against Sunday's game against the Colts.
With many uncertainties and Coleman out, the Bills are expected to rely heavily on WR Khalil Shakir, tight end Dalton Kincaid, and running back James Cook.
The 7-2 Bills are currently four-point road favorites against the Indianapolis Colts. Sunday's game will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff and game coverage provided by CBS.
