This situation is slightly risky for fantasy managers who want to pick Cooper in Week 9. However, since the receiver has not been cleared to play yet, it's better to be precautionary and keep the player away from your fantasy team. Otherwise, fantasy managers can monitor his status just before Miami's clash against the Dolphins.
Cooper was kept out of practice on Wednesday and was a limited participant on Thursday. The Bills will have another practice session on Friday and it will be interesting to see whether he will be upgraded to a full participant.
Reports say Cooper picked up his wrist injury during Buffalo's 31–10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8.
Cooper was traded from the Cleveland Browns to Buffalo on Oct. 15. He had caught 24-of-53 targets for 250 yards and two touchdowns in six games for the Browns this season.
Cooper debuted for the Bills in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans. His four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown helped Buffalo to a 34–10 victory.
This season, Cooper has tallied 78.9 fantasy points thus far. He is averaging a career-low 9.9 points per game.
