Amari Cooper sounded alarms for the Buffalo Bills a couple of weeks after being traded from the Cleveland Browns. The veteran wide receiver was not expected to practice on Wednesday after Sean McDermott revealed he was dealing with a wrist injury sustained against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8.

The surprise came after Cooper completed individual drills during the media portion today. Reporter Dan Fetes shared a short video of Cooper, noting that he had his left wrist/hand heavily tapped/wrapped.

Amari Cooper was included on the Bills' Wednesday injury report as a limited participant due to a wrist issue.

In two games with the Bills, Cooper caught five passes, four against the Tennessee Titans (66 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown) and only one for three yards against the Seahawks. The Bills won both games, but Cooper's participation was completely different from one week to another.

Seeing him on the field is a positive sign, especially for fantasy managers. His production decreased drastically against the Seahawks and he will look to improve against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

That said, the Bills' main goal should be protecting Cooper's hand, as the second half of the season is about to start.

For the season, Cooper has posted 29 receptions for 319 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He's questionable for Sunday's game, but the week has just started and things could become better for the former Browns and Cowboys wide receiver.

Amari Cooper has excelled against the Miami Dolphins during his career

Having Amari Cooper on the field against the Dolphins will give the Bills a boost against the Floridian team. The wide receiver has faced the Dolphins four times in his career, catching 15 passes for 195 yards and two receiving touchdowns.

His best outing against the Dolphins occurred in 2019 when he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He caught seven passes for 88 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

The Bills have no competition for AFC East lead and a win against the Dolphins will push them closer to the division title. Miami, New England, and the Jets have all won two games this season while the Bills have lost two, marking a clear difference between them and the rest of the division.

Amari Cooper still has two more days to see how this injury progresses and if he can play Sunday.
